Obituary of Nora Bell Ducre-Jackson
Nora Bell Ducre-Jackson, a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on November 10, 2020 at the age of 76. Nora is the beloved wife of the late Jessie Jackson; cherished mother of Tommy Jackson (Melanie); proud grandmother of Precious Jackson and Angel Jackson; and loving sister of Oscar Ducre (Ethelmae), Dale Ducre (Anne), Natherlee Bell (Charles), Willamae Waters (Jessie), and Luela Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents Alice Ducre and Herbert Toler and two sisters Dorthy Charles (Clyde) and Diane Ducre.
Nora was a talented chef and was formerly employed at The White Kitchen, Pitt Grill, and Big Easy Diner. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and will forever been remember by her loved ones as beautiful, happy, and blessed. Nora won the hearts of everyone she met and will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation (adhering to social distancing guidelines) on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell.
