Obituary of Heather Melinda Vallaire

Heather Melinda Vallaire, age 37, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Slidell Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. A resident of Hammond, Louisiana, Heather earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Southeast Louisiana University. She was an accomplished and talented artist with a passion for painting and photography. She enjoyed capturing the foggy scenes of the Louisiana swamps and woodlands and was a lover of nature and all plants and animals.

Heather leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her son, Shea Josef Vallaire of Lacombe, LA; her parents, Patti Kuczaj Vallaire and Milton Vallaire of Lacombe, LA; her sisters, Angelle Greer of Lacombe,LA;  Scarlett Vallaire of Salt Lake City, UT; Rhonda Hutchison of Slidell, LA; Rena Adan of Pembroke Pines, FL; and Rebecca Hill of Slidell, LA; along with many family members and friends and her beloved pets, Blue and Nike.

Heather was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell, LA, followed by a brief prayer service at the funeral home.
