Obituary of Aimee Annette Hebert Simpson
Aimee Annette Hebert Simpson, a native of Slidell, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2:05 p.m. in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with cancer.
Aimee was born on October 9, 1970 at Slidell Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey James Simpson; children, Baylor Grace Simpson and Reese Elizabeth Simpson; her parents, John Walter Hebert and Linda Faciane Hebert; her sister, Jeanne Rene Hebert Kadinger; niece, Madison Lind Kadinger; nephew, Logan John Kadinger; niece, Arianna Westmoreland Kadinger; and great-nephew, Dax Kadinger.
Aimee also leaves behind her brothers-in-law, Donald Simpson (Terri) and Ronald Simpson (Kristen); niece, Samantha Simpson Rodell; and nephews, James and Parker Simpson. She is predeceased by her sister, Suzette Lynne Hebert.
Aimee attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Pope John Paul II Catholic School in Slidell. She also attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. Aimee was an employee of The City of Slidell Marshall's Office for the past 14 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially Christmas holidays and Mardi Gras, and she looked forward to yearly trips to the beaches of Florida and Alabama. Aimee was a lifelong Catholic and loved God, her family, her friends, and her country. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who loved her.
A Visitation will be held on February 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church located at 3934 Berkley Street, Slidell, LA 70461 with a Funeral Mass following at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society are requested.
