Obituary of Lawrence C. McNeill

Lawrence C. McNeill, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on March 25, 2021 surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 63.  He was born in New Orleans on December 17, 1957 to the late Edith Marie Mulroy McNeill and Robert F. McNeill Jr.  Lawrence is the cherished father of Michael McNeill, Marie McNeill, Lezlie McNeill Simmons (Stacy Simmons), Gage McNeill (Courtney Resor McNeill), and Ean McNeill; beloved grandfather of Carlton Wilson, Dexter Simmons, Danielle Glenn, Austin Wyatt, Shantel Simmons, Trinity McNeill, Sheridan Wyatt, Nevaeh Cagle, Ashlynn McNeill, Brandy Cagle, Ellie McNeill, Avery McNeill, and Wyatt McNeill; great-grandfather of  Zariah Dedeaux; and caring brother of Katherine Valley, Maryanne Talley, Robert F. McNeill III (Janie McNeill), Dorothy Moorman, and Joseph F. McNeill (Dianne McNeill).

Lawrence attended Pearl River High School and was a plumber by trade. He spent many years employed with St. Tammany Parish Public Schools before retiring.  He was an outdoorsman at heart and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Lawrence touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
