Obituary of Carson Kermit Lockman
Carson Kermit Lockman, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 74. He is a native of Alloway, New Jersey, born on December 25, 1946 to the late Dennis and Julia Lockman. Carson is the beloved husband of Patricia Lockman; cherished father of Matthew J. Hooker (Bobbi), Michelle Colosi (Ed), Jennifier Traigle (Jamie), and James Pasukinski (Ellie); proud grandfather of Krystal, Khristina, Korbin, Kaylin, Brianna, Alyssa, Aimee, Dylan, Eli, Justin, Debra, and Faylinn; caring brother of Denny Lockman and Denise Dilks (John); and loving uncle of John, Jimmy, Brittany, and Diane Dilks.
Carson is a Vietnam Veteran and bravely served his country with the United States Marine Corps. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator before retiring. Carson will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation (adhering to social distancing guidelines) on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. Military honors will begin at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Wounded Warriors Foundation are preferred. Carson will be laid to rest on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Louisiana Southeast Veterans Cemetery.
