Freida Weber peacefully passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born in Kenney, Illinois to Mervin Fort and Blanche Mills. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Henry Hank Weber; her daughter, Leslie Weber; two brothers, Bill Fort and Keith Fort; and one sister, Joyce Punke.
Freida is survived by her daughter, Melissa Rolston (Rene Carrouche); two grandchildren, Lindsay Rolston and Billy Rolston (Jordyn Rolston); six great-grandchildren, Tia Barnes, Maleah Barnes, Kamron Barnes, Miya Rolston, Harper Rolston, and Jaxson Rolston; a brother, Ivan Fort (Ruth Ann Fort); a sister, Anna Mae Spenser; and in-laws, Walt Weber (Ginny Weber) and Esther Nikkels.
Freida worked for 23 years as the administrative assistant at the Association of Graduates at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. After retirement, Freida and Henry were able to fulfill their dream to buy an R.V. and travel the U.S. for several years before settling in Florida.
Her interests included traveling, football – especially the Denver Broncos, researching her family tree, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a kind, pleasant lady who was always appreciative of even the little things.
Freida will be buried alongside her husband at the Biloxi National Veterans Cemetery in Mississippi on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Memories and condolences may be expressed at www.AudubonFuneralHome.com
