Obituary of Hailey Jean Letsos
Hailey Jean Letsos was born on August 29, 1986, in Galveston, Texas, and fell asleep in death on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 34 years of age. She is preceded in death by great-grandparents, Andres and Irene Reyna; grandparents, Eugene and Honey Letsos and Lillie and Pete Sanchez; and aunt, Desiree Hartnett.
Hailey is survived by her mother, Lillie Reyna; daughter, Harper; father, Michael (Denise) Letsos; grandmother, Carol Botello; grandfather, Ruben Reyna Sr.; aunts and uncles, Gregory Hartnett Sr., Lorraine (Peter) Ochoa, Margot (Brent) Burchard, Tracey (Andrew) Strickland, Ruben (Susan) Reyna Jr., Michelle Reyna, Linda Weiler, Eugene (Nancy) Letsos, Roxanne (Kerry) Emmitt, and Tracy (Mike) Baker; siblings, Lauren Letsos, Mikey Letsos, Madison Letsos (Ty Claypool), and Fisher Letsos as well as numerous cousins.
Hailey will be remembered for her beautiful smile, appreciation for family, and that she loved learning from others. She enjoyed using her hands to make arts and crafts. Although born in Galveston, TX, she resided for many years in Slidell, Louisiana. She graduated in 2004 from Slidell High School and then attended Southeastern Louisiana University. She had a love for hair coloring along with makeup and attended the Aveda Institutes School for Cosmetology.
She worked hard to help provide for her daughter Harper, and she truly loved her. Hailey’s endearing personality and qualities will live on in Harper.
She looked forward to the future assurance made in God’s word the Bible where humans will live as a united family on a paradise earth. He also promises to wipe away the tears from our eyes and that there will be no more death, pain, or suffering.
We eagerly await being reunited with Hailey. She will be missed by so many who loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, July 8, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. A memorial service will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Audubon Room.
