Obituary of Toni Luise Kepler

Toni Luise Kepler was born on November 20, 1934 in Mannheim, Germany and passed away on January 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family in Slidell, Louisiana, at the age of 87.

She was always the life of the party and attended the World Fair in Seattle in 1962, where among nearly 10 million people, she met her beloved husband, Marvin Kepler.  On August 25, 1962, they were married and recently celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Deb Blankenship and her husband “Bud,” Sandy Buchholz and her husband Vic, and Su Erickson.  Her grandchildren include Steven Buchholz, Tamara Heidenthal, Morgan Telling, Emma Erickson, Amber Rae Levengood, and Justin and Wally Blankenship and her great-grandchildren include Calum Blankenship, Riley Blankenship, Duke Blankenship, Haily Gorbatyuk (Sergey), Aaron Macki, Allysa Macki, and Isabella Macki.  Her son, Jim Levengood, heartbreakingly passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021 and is survived by his wife, Sandy McCoy Levengood and their two children, John and Savannah Levengood.

Toni had a spunky and spirited personality and an adoration for animals.  She enjoyed feeding her ducks and watching the birds and truly had an appreciation for cultivating beauty around her, which was shown through her gardening and watching the flowers she loved grow and blossom. She enjoyed classic black and white movies and was an avid music lover.  She had an eye for fashion and loved anything that sparkled!  She was a woman of strong character who knew what she wanted throughout her life and she will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.  Memories and condolences may be expressed at
