Obituary of Lorraine Robin Acosta

Lorraine Robin Acosta, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 93. She is a native of St. Bernard, Louisiana, born on June 27, 1928, to the late John Robin and Helen Couture Robin. Lorraine is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, Ralph L. Acosta. She is the cherished mother of Pamela Kerlec (Donald) and the late Darryl Acosta; proud grandmother Monique Pritchard (JC), Jason Acosta (Fawn), Lauren Kerlec, Renee Kerlec, Alicia Milliet (Brad), Misty Bergeron (Roy), and the late Jude Acosta, great-grandmother to 14 great-grandchildren: Ava, Alexis, Aiden, and Austin Franatovich, Mason, Hannah, Haley, and the late Emma Pritchard, Briana and Gage Bergeron, Braxton and Maci Milliet, Jaxon Acosta,and Abigail Acosta; treasured sister of Violet Melerine, Joan Hudson, Phillip “Buddy” Robin, Terry “Corkey” Robin, Edward “Doogie” Robin (deceased), and Ronald Robin (deceased). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. 

Lorraine was a retired beautician and was previously employed with Robin Seafood.

Lorraine was so much more than a loving mother and grandmother. God used her to bring joy, happiness, laughter, and love to so many. The family would like to give a special thanks to her sister, Joan, who has always been at her side when needed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Lorraine on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Toca, Louisiana. A Funeral Mass will begin at noon. Memories and condolences may be expressed at www.AudubonFuneralHome.com
