Obituary of Margit Facey Shore

Margit Facey Shore, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on February 10, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 64.  She was a native of San Francisco, California, born on October 5, 1957.  Margit is the beloved wife of 47 years to Stuart Shore; cherished mother of Daniel Shore, Nicholas Shore, and the late Jennifer Nilsson; proud grandmother of Ayriahna Purvis, Tristan Nilsson, Austin Shore, Andrew Shore, Hailey Shore, Joshua Shore, and Adaline Shore; treasured daughter of John and Irene Bell; and adored sister of Marie Facey, Marion Facey, Michelle Facey, and the late Mark Facey.

Margit graduated from Mountville High School in California with the Class of 1975.  She went on to earn certification as a Nursing Assistant.  Margit will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife and mother, who loved nothing more than time spent with family and friends.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
