Obituary of Jacqueline René Gutierrez

Jacqueline René Gutierrez, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 37. She was born on July 5, 1984, in San Francisco, California, to Roger and Michelle LaMaster.  Jacqueline is the beloved wife of Arturo Gutierrez; cherished mother of Liliana René, Isaiah Arturo, and Catalaya René; and treasured sister of Ski’rik Neal Tyler, and Sydney Noel Fildes.

Jacqueline graduated from Cibola High School in Yuma, Arizona.  At the age of 16, she began working part-time at a nursing home in Yuma, AZ.  After high school, she began her full-time career as a nursing technician with Yuma Regional Medical Center.  She moved to Slidell in 2014 and became employed by the Slidell Memorial Hospital Emergency Department.  Jacqueline devoted 20 years of her life to nursing and the medical field.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
