Obituary of Mary Louise Sullivan

Mary Louise Sullivan of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on April 26, 2022, at the age of 73. She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born on May 10, 1948 to her parents, Henry Bennett Sr. and Dorothy Rita Montz Bennett. Mary leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her partner Calvin Schmiderer; two sons, Gilbert Duhe and John Duhe; three grandchildren, Victoria Duhe, Christian Duhe, and Aiden Duhe; three siblings, Dorothy “Dottie” Bennett, Frances Bennett, and Melvin Bennett; and many extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly.  She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Henry Bennett Jr., Gillis Bennett, Raymond Bennett, and Bobbie Bennett.

Mary was employed for many years as a truck driver before retiring. She lived life to the fullest and loved having a good time. Mary enjoyed singing karaoke, dancing, playing bingo, gambling, doing yard work, and loved nothing more than the spending time with her family. She was a member of DAVA, Unit #6 in Meridian, Mississippi. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
