Obituary of Dawn Michelle Barrett

Dawn Michelle Barrett, of Caernarvon, Louisiana, passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 40.  She was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born on August 31, 1981 to her loving parents, Doreen Barrett and Kenneth Barrett.  Dawn is the beloved companion of Rusty Campo; cherished mother of Evan Arcement; and treasured sister of Chad Barrett.  She is also survived by her faithful K9 companion, Rex Michael.

Dawn graduated from Chalmette High School with the Class of 1999. She had a career in the commercial fishing industry. Dawn was always the life of the party. She was a crabber by trade and loved to fish. Any day she was on the water, was a day she loved, as she would call it “her office view.” Dawn will forever be cherished by everyone who knew her.

A Celebration of Life in Dawn’s honor will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022 from 2:00  p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Cuda’s Bar in St. Bernard, Louisiana.  Memories and condolences may be expressed at www.AudubonFuneralHome.com
