Obituary of Roger Howard Calhoun Jr.

Roger Howard Calhoun Jr., of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 53.  He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born on February 24, 1969 to his loving parents, Jane Ann Hickman Calhoun and Roger Howard Calhoun Sr.  Roger is the treasured father of Lyric Seaton (Anthony Seaton) and Roger Calhoun III (Olivia Dantin); cherished stepfather of Calynn Rehage, Jason Estopinal, and Jessica Thompson Parker; proud grandfather of Brylie Grace Calhoun and Tristan Ray Seaton; caring brother of Rory Calhoun (Nikole), Ratasha Treadway (Allen), Ryan Calhoun (Jennifer), and Ranada McClurg (Ronald); and beloved fiancé of Christina Estopinal.   

Roger graduated from Marion Abramson High School and had a career in automotive tires sales as a district manager with Monro Auto Service.  He enjoyed cooking, yardwork, and his Mustang, but cherished nothing more than the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.  Roger will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
