Obituary of Paulette Lydia Roux

Paulette Lydia Roux, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on July 18, 2022 at the age of 73.  She is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born on August 6, 1948 to her loving parents, the late Marcus J. Roux and Dorothy Peller Roux. Paulette was preceded in death by her companion of 30 years and one and only true love, Leonardo “Lenny” DiVincent. She is the cherished aunt of Marcus J. Savoie, André J. Savoie, Chantel S. Yeager (James), and Ann Marie M. Inman (William); beloved great-aunt of André Savoie, Tayler Savoie, Elizabeth Yeager, Ty Inman, Kayla Inman, and Tevin Inman; and treasured sister of Michael Roux, Susan Roux, Sheila R. Melan (Ronald), and the late Karen R. Savoie.

Paulette attended Saints Peter and Paul in New Orleans and Nicholls High School.  She had a career in accounting and was formerly employed with Wembley Neckties, Rouses Supermarket, and the Waffle House.  Paulette will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell.  A Mass of Christian Burial will begin in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.  Paulette will be laid to rest in Saint Louis No. 3 Cemetery in New Orleans following services.  Memories and condolences may be expressed at www.AudubonFuneralHome.com
