Obituary of Madeline "Maddie" Lee Miller

Madeline “Maddie” Lee Miller, beloved wife, mother, and daughter, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2022 at the age of 27.  She was a native of Slidell, Louisiana and resided in Covington, Louisiana. Maddie leaves behind, to cherish her memory, husband, Codey Miller; her precious son, Miles Miller; parents, Hilary and Chuck Walker; siblings, Fritz Walker and Allie Walker; maternal grandparents, Rick and Barbara Burka; paternal grandparents, Fritz and Dixie Walker; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chris and Kerry Miller. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly.

Maddie graduated from Northshore High School with the Class of 2013, where she was a four year soccer player and State Champion Club Soccer player known as one of the fiercest defenders in the state. She was also recognized and named “Most Artistic” by her classmates at Northshore. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Family and Consumer Science from Southeastern University, where she also belonged to the Phi Mu Sorority, running many parts of the internal business and marketing campaigns for the organization. Maddie was the owner and operator of Kidz Klub House in Mandeville, where she was known for her love for “her kids” and her passion for her staff and family of parents. She was known for her keen eye and delivery of her unique imagination, capturing, and recording those special moments for eternity. She was a talented artist, excelling in painting and drawing, winning numerous awards throughout her years.

Maddie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, as they cherish the moments and memories spent doing what she loved best….gathering with family and friends. Known for her beautiful smile and infectious laugh which lit up every room she walked into, but most of all for her love for her son, Miles, who will carry her spirit on. Always the life of every event, Maddie would wish that we all would live life as she did…..loving, caring, giving, and fierce!
